Love love love this product! My fine curly hair was damaged and brittle from outdoor cycling over hours in the sun. Now I use this once a week and ‘scrunch’ the product throughout my hair for a few minutes after shampoo then rinse. Towel dry with a 100% cotton t shirt and I don’t even need to comb as I have no tangles, only smooth lovely and utterly soft curls! I just add a little Oi oil on the ends to finish and air dry! The smell is natural and light…very very nice!

If you bleach, this product will fix your sad, damaged hair. Bleaching makes my hair dry, looking like hay, and tangled in a way no conditioner or brush can fix. This mask only needs five minutes but I leave it in overnight. Once rinsed, my hair feels and looks almost 100% repaired. Tangling is immediately resolved, and I mean "immediate". I don't know if it's appropriate to use this on hair that isn't damaged, and frankly, I'm surprised the other review on this site says they don't know if it worked or not. I can say confidently that IF YOU HAVE HAIR DAMAGED BY BLEACHING, YOU WILL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE AFTER ONE USE. I think it's ridiculous to give this product three stars because of the smell. The smell is odd, I'll admit, but I've come to love it because after 9 months of bleaching and then masking with this, I associate the smell with tangle-free, repaired hair. The first couple uses I definitely was like "this stuff smells so weird." It's not bad, its just weird. But again, nowadays when I open it up, I drink in the smell because my brain says: "OH YEA GET READY FOR SOME SWEET SWEET HEALING, QUEEEEEEEEEN!!!"

This product is ok, I can't tell if it works/does what it is supposed to, but I wanted to warn others of the smell. It smells like chickpeas, B.O. or campfire, not exactly a smell you want to have in your hair for a special occasion. It's unfortunate that the smell is offputting.
