I wanted this to make my curls soft, shiny, and easy to detangle, but honestly it feels more like a sticky hairspray. My hair ended up hard to comb and kind of heavy. Definitely not the best match for fine hair like mine.

If you're wanting to keep your curls throughout the day. This is the product. Just remember not to put too much, a little goes a long way. The scent is also lovely.

I really like the love shampoo and conditioner, leaves my hair soft and I like the scent. I have long wavy hair that is prone to frizz in the summer. I have not used a diffuser with the curl cream (rarely blow dry my hair). I have applied after towel drying and find it either does nothing (not enough product) or it leaves an unpleasant film (10-15 squirts). Doesn’t offer much definition and lacks hold. I find I have to wash the next day, which is not ideal for me. First Davines product I’ve been disappointed in.

The curl cream is nice, doesn’t make your hair greasy. It smells fresh and amazing. The only thing I wished is that if it had little bit more hold and a thicker formula. Also I got free samples of shampoo and conditioner with my order, those were also great!

Best curl product for fine textured hair. Enough product to pull my curls together but not too heavy that I still have volume by the end of the day and sometimes even day 2 which is unheard of with anything else for me! A must try if you still haven't found just the right curly product!!!

Absolutely loved this product! By far the best match I've found for my 2C/3A hair! I have fine hair but lots of it and my hairdresser recommended this curl cream to me! I fell in love with it instantly! I found my curls were lasting longer and my hair wasn't getting extra oily with the product. My hair is more defined and I get lasting root lift if I diffuse with this cream! And I love that it feels like there's almost nothing in my hair once I scrunch the thin cast away. I also really like the smell, which is weird because I usually go for coconut smelling product but this one is not that at all!
I do have 2 complaints with this product though. One is that I find I need a little more than the recommended amount so that tiny bottle is not worth the money and shipping if not able to buy in your area. For my medium length bob this smaller bottle lasts me a couple months, but I would still love to see a much larger bottle for those of us that can't just drive to a salon quickly. Second is that I moved and now I can't buy it in person in the same province even so I will have to start buying online which is a bit of a hassle and extra money when I would buy so frequently.
Other than that I cannot say enough good things about this product!

Still finding how to use it best after a few weeks. I’ve had some flaking - not sure if I applied too much or if my hair was too wet? Also find the smell a little overwhelming but I’ve gotten used to it with time.
