I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bottle, it's more product than I expected! As well, the serum seems to be doing wonders to my hair! I've been struggling with frizz and tangles and I notice a massive difference in my curls hold, bounce and silkyness. Its certainly reduced my frizz and strengthened my curls. I would recommend this product, and I hope they restock it as I'd definitely like to buy again when this bottle runs out!

Keeps the curls tight with no frizz, not heavy at all, you can built your curls by twisting your hair with your fingers and it stays in place, smells really good too !! Does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Before purchasing I would have found it helpful to know that this is really just a sort of lubricant for curls. It's very slick, like silicone lubricant, and if you have wavy hair it will reduce frizz but otherwise will leave it just laying there, limp. If you have very intense coiled curls I can see how this would be useful, but it doesn't "build curls" at all as the name implies, rather it lubricates existing curls. It has the cypress scent that all the Davines styling products have (except for sea salt spray, oil non oil, and the aerosols which have the vanilla scent). It's a lovely scent, but it also happens to be the exact same scent used by Seventh Generation for their toilet bowl cleaner which is a really unfortunate coincidence. I think Davines may have to reformulate because it's hard to break that association.

Excellent scent, and it works quite well. I have 2b/2c hair and this is the first curl product I ever got. Gentle hold, no crunch.
To the poster below me: DON'T BRUSH TEXTURED HAIR. Obviously your curls are gone after you brush them

I have wavy hair that gets curly when it's wet. The serum s nice, smells good. First day curls look very nice bouncy and shiny. However next day after brushing the hair curls are gone.
