The Prettiest Hair Looks to Get You Through Wedding Season

Wedding season is in full swing and whether you’re the star of the nuptials or a just a spectator your hair has to look the part. From chic classic updos to beachy boho down-dos, we’ve got all the lock looks you need to get you through wedding season.

Plaited Half-Bun

Take a spin on a classic half-up topknot by adding an inverted braid along your center part. Work a pea-size drop of Davines This is an Invisible Serum through your hair to smooth flyaways, then create a three-strand braid down the middle of your head until you've reached the crown. Bobby pin the braid in place, then brush the rest of your hair into a half-up ponytail, twisting and pinning the ends into a bun.

Modern Faux Lob

The key to this style is loose, beachy waves and amped-up volume, so If you’ve been longing for a cool-girl lob, but aren’t ready for a chop, try a faux. Spritz your strands generously with Davines This is a Dry Texturizer. Then, all you have to do is give your hair a deep side part, pull it into a loose bun, and let the loose pieces fall where they may.

Side Swept Waves

Start with damp hair and work Davines This is a Strong Dry Wax onto damp strands to create hold and wrap medium-size sections into loose coils all around your head. Gather everything to one side, and let your strands air-dry on their own. Keep your hair in position by crisscrossing a few bobby pins at the nape of your neck. When you're ready to loosen up, shake out your coils into softer, more touchable waves. Or for a less glam, beachier boho wave, see our post on "How to Master the Perfect Beach Wave Without Heat."

Braided Ponytail

Pull your hair in into a ponytail. Spray the tail with Davines Hair Refresher to plump up your strands. Braid the ponytail and comb your hair back with your fingers to keep the hair at the crown soft.

Whether you're getting married, part of the wedding party or simply a guest at the festivities, these hair looks will take you through the season in style.
